2 suspects wanted in Southside murder arrested


JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two males sought in reference to the Nov. sixteen capturing demise of 30-yr-previous Dontae Alston have been arrested Sunday, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Workplace stated.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the suspects, who have been recognized as 29-yr-previous Keith Kasheen Hines and 24-yr-previous Deshawn Robertson, police stated. 

Alston died after he was shot within the torso regardless of the efforts of officers to save lots of his life, together with a rookie officer on his first day of subject coaching, investigators stated.

The capturing was reported about 1:forty five p.m. on Wright Avenue, simply off St. Augustine Street within the Pine Forest neighborhood on the town’s Southside. 

Based on data, Hines and Robertson are charged with homicide, tried homicide, possession of weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon and failure to seem in courtroom. 

Hines and Robertson will not be eligible for bail. They’re each scheduled to seem in courtroom on March 30.
