2 taken to hospital due to odor in Wheat Ridge

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – Two individuals have been taken to the hospital resulting from a robust odor that prompted a HazMat response in Wheat Ridge Thursday night time.

Firefighters responded to a house within the 4400 block of Simms Road round 10:30 p.m. and located an odor coming from a pool shed on a neighboring property.

It’s unclear what was producing the odor.

Firefighters stated the odor wasn’t affecting some other houses within the space. State officers might be on the scene later Friday to research.
