Crash takes out fire hydrant, flooding Tampa street

A crash on east Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa created a multitude Tuesday morning, after a automotive collided with a fireplace hydrant. 

The only-car crash at east Hillsborough Avenue and thirty second Road toppled a hydrant and flooded the roadway. 

The roadway deterioted, prompting officers to shut a few of the westbound lanes early Tuesday. 

The eastbound lanes remained open.
