A 26-yr-previous Dade Metropolis man has been arrested and charged with baby neglect after a toddler was discovered with burns from scorching water on her physique.

In response to Pasco County deputies, Jonathan Lee Howard was taken into custody Sunday after they stated he poured scalding water on a 2-yr-previous woman.
Deputies stated Howard had custodial supervision of the kid. She suffered second-diploma burns to her scalp, arms, mid-part and legs.
Authorities stated Howard initially advised authorities the kid’s burns have been from an explosing lighter. He later admitted to pouring the recent water on the woman.
Deputies additionally stated the incident occurred Saturday however Howard waited till Sunday to get the kid medical consideration.
