DENVER – Transfer over, Dobby the giraffe. There’s a brand new child animal on the Denver Zoo.
The zoo on Friday introduced its first profitable delivery of a fishing cat cub.
Zoo employees posted pictures of the cub, named Miso-Chi, on Twitter.

Fishing cats are native to elements of southeast Asia and as their identify suggests, they typically reside in wetlands and feed on fish. The Worldwide Society for Endangered Cats Canada lists fishing cats as “weak” as their numbers have declined in recent times.
