DPD officer hit, hurt trying to stop motorcycles


DENVER – A Denver Police Division officer was injured after being hit by a motorbike which was driving on a closed street Sunday afternoon.

The officer was hit after making an attempt to cease 4 bikes driving on a closed Colorado Basic race route, in accordance with a DPD official. The officer and a motorcyclist have been taken to a hospital.

A second motorcyclist was taken into custody at thirty second Avenue and Federal, police stated in a tweet.
