Former US presidents raising money for hurricane relief

The 5 dwelling former U.S. presidents are creating the “One America Attraction” to boost cash for storm restoration as Texas and Louisiana regroup from Harvey and Florida braces for Hurricane Irma.

The hurricane restoration effort was introduced Thursday by former presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Invoice Clinton, George H.W. Bush and Jimmy Carter.

Organizers say a particular restricted account has been established via the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library Basis to gather and shortly distribute donations. Officers say “one hundred cents out of each greenback” donated will assist hurricane victims.

Donations designated to assist victims of Harvey shall be distributed to the Houston Harvey Aid Fund and the Rebuild Texas Fund. The attraction is predicted to be expanded to assist Irma victims.
