Hillsborough teacher arrested for grand theft from co-worker, deputies say


A Hillsborough County instructor was arrested Wednesday after officers say she stole one other instructor’s bank card.

Sylvia Clark, fifty eight, is charged with grand theft and fraudulent use of a bank card. 

Officers stated each academics have been sitting outdoors at a desk at Hammond Elementary Faculty on Sept. 5 watching college students whereas they have been participated in recess. 

The sufferer positioned her purse and lunch field on the desk to help a scholar and officers stated Clark eliminated the sufferer’s pockets with contents that valued at over $340. 

On the identical day, officers stated the sufferer’s card was used at a Publix, situated at 15151 Dale Mabry Freeway and Clark was captured on surveillance video. 

Clark was arrested at present, Sept. 20 and charged with grand theft and fraudulent use of a bank card.
