CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – As residents of the Texas Gulf Coast braced for days of “catastrophic” flooding from a weakened tropical storm Harvey, cities like Rockport that took the brunt of the Class four storm reported widespread injury Saturday as emergency groups looked for any survivors trapped in low-mendacity areas or collapsed buildings.
“We all know there’s widespread devastation,” Rockport Mayor C.J. Wax advised The Climate Channel. “I feel it’s protected to say we took a Cat. four (hurricane) proper on the nostril, and we’d recognize everybody’s prayers.”
