Jacksonville woman found dead at Georgia motel; Folkston man charged with murder


Officers responding to a 911 cling-up name from the Econo Lodge in Kingsland at 12:fifty five a.m. Tuesday led officers to discover a sixty two-yr-previous Jacksonville lady lifeless of head trauma in one of many rooms, in line with the Kingsland Police Division.

The lady was recognized as sixty two-yr-previous Ruthene Tukes, who was a visitor on the lodge.

Lodge employees stated they heard a lady screaming proper earlier than police confirmed up.

Monroe was arrested and booked into the Camden County jail on a cost of first-diploma homicide.
