Nassau seek man in attempted Hempstead bank robbery


Nassau police are investigating an tried financial institution theft in Hempstead Tuesday by which the suspect fled with none proceeds.

In line with Theft Squad detectives, a person entered Chase Financial institution at 136 Fulton Ave., handed a word to a teller demanding cash after which fled, police stated.

There have been seven staff and two clients within the financial institution on the time. There have been no accidents, police stated.

The suspect is described as being 30-35 years of age, standing between 6-foot-1 and 6-foot-2, having a skinny construct, and sporting a white hat, a grey lengthy-sleeved train jacket, blue denims and black footwear.
