GREELEY, Colo. – The husband of a Washington County commissioner gained’t face any fees after investigators say he shot and killed his 31-yr-previous son throughout an argument earlier this month.
Weld County District Lawyer Michael Rourke declined to file expenses Friday towards Stanley Laybourn, sixty five, after investigators decided he acted in self-protection when he shot his son, Leyton Laybourn, the night time of Aug. thirteen.
Stanley was arrested shortly after the incident on County Street 5 close to Cope in Washington County and held on a $250,000 bond. He has since been launched from jail.
