Pasco 7th grader with tourettes on a mission to educate peers about the disorder

A 12-yr-previous Pasco County woman is educating her friends about tourettes syndrome. Adrianna Dealer is a seventh grader at Thomas E. Weightman Center Faculty and has lived with tourette’s syndrome for the previous two years. She hopes to assist others who’ve it. 

“Having tourettes syndrome does not part you, it does not make you totally different, it does not make you awkward, it makes you so particular. Whenever you’re older you may turn out to be a instructor who needs to show individuals about it, and I simply need you to know you guys are so particular to me, regardless that I do not know you, I do know you guys will do nice,” Dealer stated. 

Adrianna stated the expertise helped her stroll round faculty extra freely together with her friends understanding extra about her. She additionally gave out braceletes to college students she spoke with. 

Adrianna plans to proceed her mission to teach others concerning the dysfunction.
