HELLAM TOWNSHIP, York County — Accomac Street in Hellam Township has been reopened to local visitors and emergency automobiles, in accordance with PennDOT.
The roadway had been closed since 7:20 a.m. Friday.
PennDOT says a stone floor was left on each Accomac Street and River Drive.
On Monday, weather permitting, portions of both these roads might be paved.
Elements of Accomac Street and River Drive have been washed away due to the heavy rainfall and flooding on August 31.
