DENVER — Congressman Jared Polis says President Donald Trump’s proposed border wall is a “boondoggle” and says the president’s menace to close down the federal government if Congress doesn’t fund the constructing of that wall is irresponsible.
“He promised through the marketing campaign that another nation would pay for it, a variety of us knew on the time that wasn’t true,” Polis advised Anne Trujillo on this week’s Politics Unplugged. “He’s now asking the American taxpayers to pay not just some billion, $30 to $forty billion of deficit spending.
