Road closure in Lakeland after train collides with trailer

A Lakeland roadway has been closed after a CSX practice collided with a semi late Tuesday.

There have been no accidents and the crash didn’t trigger a haz mat state of affairs. 

In response to Lakeland police, the semi was crossing the tracks on north Ingraham Avenue close to east Oak Road when the trailer turned indifferent from the semi cab. 

The trailer remained on the tracks and didn’t derail.

Based on officers, Lakeland police have been notified however CSX officers couldn’t reached in time to get the trailer off the tracks. 

A practice got here by way of and collided with the trailer, splitting it in half. 

It isn’t a closely traveled space however Ingraham Avenue stays closed between Oak and Oleander Road. 

The railroad tracks have been cleaned by 5 a.m. and the practice was shifting once more a short while later.
