Three former Hernando County Fire Chiefs facing fraud charges


Three former chiefs on the Hernando Seashore Volunteer Hearth Division at the moment are dealing with costs following a prolonged investigation.

The Hernando County Sheriff’s Workplace has been wanting into claims of misappropriation of funds inside the former hearth division, and now three properly-recognized figures locally are underneath arrest. 

The Metropolis of Brooksville Hearth Chief David Freda, the Metropolis of Brooksville Hearth Captain David Murdock, and FEMA worker Travis Morris have been among the many arrests. All three of them have been former Hearth Chiefs within the Hernando Seashore Volunteer Hearth Division.
